Under the Mahatma Gandhi Narega scheme, the last date for applying for the post of “Gram kayak Mitra” has been extended till June 05, 2021. Recruitment in all 14 taluks fo Belagavi district.
Applications were invited for the post of village headman in the taluks. The deadline to apply was May 20. However, due to Kovid-19 being locked down, the expected number of applications are not accepted. Therefore, the period for accepting applications for the “Gram kayak Mitra” post has been extended till June 05.
The Taluk Selection Committee will review the applications, prepare a merit list and publish a temporary selection list in the Gram Panchayat on June 10. The objection to the temporary list is June. The district-level committee would publish the final list on June 25.
