The Karnataka Public Service Commission has announced a recruitment notification to fill the vacancies of Assistant Forest Conservator Group ‘A’ vacant in the Karnataka Forest, Environment and Biology Department. Interested candidates can apply online to find out the details of the post.

Education Qualification
- For Reservations Reserved for Forestry Graduates: Should have obtained minimum 50% marks in Forestry Subject Degree.
- Reserved for Non-Forestry Science / Engineering Graduates: Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Veterinary Science Degree or Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Micro-Biology and Biotechnology Should have obtained minimum 50% marks in the examination.
Examination fee
- Rs. 600 for General Eligibility Candidates.
- Rs. 300 for candidates belonging to 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B.
- Rs. 50 for former military candidates.
Age limit
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age on the last date for filing the application online. Maximum age is 30 years for General Eligibility Candidate, Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Candidate is 33 years and SC / ST candidate is 35 years. If the candidate is a former soldier he has three years of service in the Armed Forces.
